The 'Zaire Blue' or 'Moba' Frontosa — deeper blue coloration than C. frontosa. Deep-water species naturally living 30–150 feet down. Slow-moving, majestic, with large nuchal hump developing with age. Group spawner — must be kept in groups. One of the most impressive large cichlids. Long-lived (25+ years).

Check the whole aquarium. Tank size alone does not establish compatibility. Confirm adult size, water overlap, social grouping, territory, diet, and the individual animals before stocking.
