Care notes
Stunning as juveniles (tall black-banded dorsal fin), but grows to 2 feet and requires very large, cool water. Often sold without disclosing adult size. Ultimately a pond fish. Sold as 'Chinese High Fin Shark' — not a shark.
Check the whole aquarium. Tank size alone does not establish compatibility. Confirm adult size, water overlap, social grouping, territory, diet, and the individual animals before stocking.
