Completely transparent body reveals skeleton and internal organs. Beautiful in planted tanks. Naturally found in slightly alkaline water. Avoid 'painted' or 'disco' fish — these are injected with dye and are unethical. Schools of 6+ preferred.
Check the whole aquarium. Tank size alone does not establish compatibility. Confirm adult size, water overlap, social grouping, territory, diet, and the individual animals before stocking.
