Care notes

Dramatic black-and-white checkerboard or spotted pattern — smallest and most striking Julidochromis. Multiple wild color forms (Gombe, Bemba, Kissi, etc.) each with distinct markings. Monogamous; pair guards territory aggressively. Hardy and easy to breed. Good beginner Tanganyika species.
