Care notes

Nearly identical to Midas Cichlid. True Red Devils have thicker, rubber-like lips adapted for prying mollusks from rocks. Deep orange-red coloration. Extremely aggressive and territorial — best kept alone or with one very large tankmate. Highly interactive with owners.

Check the whole aquarium. Tank size alone does not establish compatibility. Confirm adult size, water overlap, social grouping, territory, diet, and the individual animals before stocking.
