Care notes

Called the 'Dragon Goby' for its elongated eel-like body and impressive teeth. Despite fearsome appearance, it is extremely peaceful — teeth are used only for scraping algae. Nocturnal. Requires brackish water (SG 1.005–1.015) and a deep sandy substrate to burrow in. Gets large.

Check the whole aquarium. Tank size alone does not establish compatibility. Confirm adult size, water overlap, social grouping, territory, diet, and the individual animals before stocking.
