The Fishician® community exists to help people keep healthy aquariums. Keep it useful, honest, and kind.

Age and eligibility

Accounts and community posting are for users 13 and older. Follow all laws that apply to you, including wildlife and endangered-species trade laws.

Aquarium updates, tank photos and videos you took yourself
Care questions and respectful, experience-based advice
Equipment experiences, honest reviews, aquascaping ideas

Never post

Hate speech, harassment, threats, or doxxing / private personal information
Sexual content, graphic violence, or content involving animal abuse or neglect
Illegal activity, unlawful wildlife trade, scams, spam, or malware
Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights
Dangerous "treatments" or advice you know to be false

Your responsibility

When posting video or audio, include a useful written description, caption, or transcript in the post text so people who cannot hear or see the media can understand its essential content. Use plain language and avoid text embedded only in images.

You are responsible for what you post. Only upload content you own or have permission to use. Community advice is hobbyist opinion — not veterinary or professional advice.

Moderation

Fishician uses automated moderation (AI text and image screening) plus human review. We may remove content, limit distribution, warn, suspend, or terminate accounts. Moderation decisions can be appealed via Help → Moderation appeal in the app. Copyright complaints follow the DMCA Policy.
